Egyptian Queen Nefertiti earrings

These attractive 3D charms of Queen Nefertiti, Tutankhamun’s mother (or stepmother), are modelled on the painted bust now in a Berlin museum. Her family became the focus of a sun cult, and the amber beads in these earrings were specifically chosen to represent this connection. Amber was used in Egyptian jewellery.
The Baltic amber used here is approximately 50 million years old.
